In my 20 years of experience in the technology industry, there’s one thing that remains the same – CHANGE. Change can sometimes be daunting, causing fear and uncertainty. It can make you second-guess your choices and raise questions about the future.

But if you have conviction, I find that change catapults you to a new and positive place. It gives clarity where there may not have been. It gives you an opportunity to reinvent yourself; to be greater than you may have been before. In fact, in the tech industry, we call a significant change “innovation”.

Innovation in enterprise content management (ECM) is exactly what our Enterprise Content Division is all about. We’ve been in the ECM industry for 25 years, but instead of resting on our laurels, we’ve embraced change. In the IDC FutureScape: Worldwide IT Industry 2016 Predictions — Leading Digital Transformation to Scale*, analysts predict that by 2020, more than 30% of the IT vendors will not exist as we know them today. Therefore even as the market digests recent announcements, we remain focused on our innovation agenda. We’re making content work more effectively from its inception through its retirement, ultimately enabling a differentiated customer experience for our customers and their customers. In fact, we’ve come so far that we call this new methodology an “Un-ECM” approach. It’s this willingness to disrupt ourselves that’s made us an innovative technology driver, a strong vendor for our customers and partners, and a visionary in the industry.
